there is no risk of confusion. ''Nobody will drink our perfume, even if it is sold in a bottle shaped like a champagne cork. '' The wine producers got the better of the court while Yves Saint Laurent lost the legal dispute, was
forced to change the name: he passed First from Champagne to Yves Saint Laurent and later in 1996 to Yvresse.
The reference to the drink par excellence and the creation of a sweet and effervescent perfume had created such a
magic that it was enough to change its name to make it less attractive product. The slogan used to advertise the perfume read: Champagne the perfume of success; a slogan that sought to
link the successful status of career women with a fragrance as intoxicating and effervescent as a glass of champagne. The designer had thought of a perfume for light, happy and sparkling women. The design of the bottle itself
is inspired by the cap of champagne with its metal cage, as the
fragrance itself tries to convey the effervescence and notes typical of the drink par excellence. The fragrance is fruity, sweet, with green accents, talc; a complex but well balanced, timeless perfume.Yvresse and
Champagne differ only by name and packaging as well as by price, the fregrance is the same. The
