Vintage Lalique perfumes
When we talk about Lalique we always think of crystals even if the history of the brand has always been linked to jewelry and perfumery. René Lalique (1860-1945) is considered the greatest decorative artist of the last century, creating tens of thousands of art objects in the period of Art Nouveau and Art Déco, including perfume bottles
In 1908, René Lalique met François Coty, a great perfumer of the time who proposed him to design labels and, subsequently, bottles. Combining on the one hand the craftsmanship and entrepreneurial skills of Coty and on the other with the artistic and technical vein of Lalique, he made it possible to produce glass bottles on a large scale, revolutionizing the perfumery industry: René Lalique created hundreds of perfume bottles for many perfumery brands such as Guerlain, Nina Ricci, Worth, Cartier and many others.
Only in 1992, thanks to Renè's granddaughter, Marie-Claude, the lalique brand decided to create its own personal line of perfumes. Even today, the combination of perfume creation and the skilful processing of crystal distinguishes Lalique perfumes: crystal makes the prestigious limited edition bottles unique, while the refined glass work characterizes the classic line of perfumes.
